Blues Host Invitational Camp

IRVINE, CA (January 8, 2014) - Orange County Blues FC is hosting an invitational training camp next week, January 12-16, at Orange County Great Park, the Blues' home training pitch. The camp will include both prospective players from around the globe and players from the 2014 Blues' roster.

This is the first step that Head Coach Oliver Wyss is taking to build a team for the 2015 season after being hired on December 3rd. Some roster spots have already been filled with players' 2nd year contract options being accepted. The club will announce those individuals at a later date.

Of the 40 players who will participate, several spent 2014 with Orange County Blues FC, including but not limited to Jimmy Turner, Aaron Perez, Jiovanni and Christopher Santana.

This invitational camp will also include international players from Europe, South and Central America.
