Blues Assign Forward Chris Porter to Peoria

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced the Blues have assigned forward Chris Porter to the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen today.

Porter, 28, dressed in 47 games with the Blues last season tallying seven points including four goals and three assists. The Toronto, Ontario native was originally drafted by Chicago in the ninth round (282nd overall) of the 2003 Entry Draft. He was signed as a free agent by the Blues on Aug. 21, 2007.
