(Bridgeport, CT - June 29, 2009) - The Bridgeport Bluefish defeated the Camden Riversharks in the opener of a three-game series on Monday 18-9 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.
The fireworks are scheduled for Wednesday night but there were plenty of fireworks present on the field as the Bluefish offense exploded in game one. Jesse Hoorelbeke led the Bluefish offense going 4-for-5 with two runs scored, a grand slam in the fifth inning and another three-run shot in the seventh inning bringing his RBI total to eight on the night.
