LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Have items around the house that you are looking to sell? Want to make some extra money, or pick up some bargain-priced goods? If so, the Lakewood BlueClaws Flea Markets are a great venue to buy and sell new and used merchandise.
On eight Sundays this summer and fall, FirstEnergy Park will host another year of flea markets and vendors are encouraged to sign up for their locations today. Each flea market will take place in the large parking lot outside the ballpark.
"We have always received a great response from both vendors and buyers at our flea markets," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "Our flea markets are a great place for vendors to make some extra money or customers to spend less on the things they need."
Pre-registered vendors selling new merchandise will receive their 18' x 18' space (equivalent to two 9' x 18' parking spaces) for only $30 per date. Vendors who pre-register and sell used merchandise will get the same space at $20 per date. Walk up spaces will be offered for $35 and $25 respectively. Further, if any vendor would like more than the two parking spaces allotted, they are available for an additional $10.
Rental fees are non-refundable and may be made via cash, check or credit card. There are also discounts available for committing to every flea market date.
The dates for the flea market are as follows: June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 4, October 18, November 1, November 15.
Vendor locations are pre-determined by the BlueClaws, with preference given to those who book earlier, and each vendor is responsible for their own tables and displays. There is no electricity available on site and those who choose to bring their own generator must inform the BlueClaws before doing so.
