Blue Wahoos Announce Board of Trustees

PENSACOLA, Fla., - A Board of Trustees has been developed for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to ensure sustainability and growth for years to come in the Pensacola community.
Bruce Baldwin, current President of the team, will serve as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Florida Baseball and chairman of the board. Current Executive Vice President Jonathan Griffith moves up as the team President. Team owner Quint Student will serve as managing partner on the board and Rishy Studer will serve as a board member.
"We have completed three solid operational years with the Wahoos and are positioned for a very good fourth year," said Quint Studer. "Like climbing a mountain, once you get to one peak, there is another one. The better we operate, the more opportunity there is to expand. This year, for example, we have new upgraded signage, a new season ticket parking venue and club lounge, Bubba's Sand Trap, new merchandise opportunities with Bubba, new radio agreement and other opportunities are in the horizon."
Minority owner and two-time Masters Champion Bubba Watson will serve on the board as well as Randall Wells. Other members of the board will be Scott Remington (legal counsel from Clark, Partington, Hart, Larry, Bond & Stackhouse) and Matt O'Sullivan (financial counsel from Warren Averett Accounting Firm).
Serving as ex officio members are Griffith and team Chief Financial Officer Amber McClure.
