Valley Blue Sox News Release
Blue Sox entered their game against the Mystic Schooners on Sunday with a four-game winning streak in tact.
The Schooners had a different plan in mind and crashed the early-season party for Holyoke winning 7-5.
Despite falling behind early, the Blue Sox made a valiant comeback in the eighth inning pushing across three runs to cut the Schooners lead down to two but that's as close as they would get.
Holyoke returns to action on Tuesday against the Danbury Westerners on the road.
Blue Sox are 4-1 on the road in 2013 and this marks the first game between Holyoke and Danbury.
First pitch between the Blue Sox and Westerners is set for 6:30 p.m. at Rogers Park in Danbury, Connecticut.
