
Blue Rocks Release 2018 Schedule

Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
Wilmington, DE-- The Wilmington Blue Rocks released their 2018 schedule on Thursday and revealed the team will open the campaign on the road against the Potomac Nationals on Thursday, April 5. The Blue Rocks then return to the first state for their 26th season at Frawley Stadium on Thursday, April 12 against the Lynchburg Hillcats.
The team will play 140 total games with 70 coming at home. The season will feature a nine-game homestand from June 25-through-July 3, which is the longest for the team since 2000. Wilmington will also play 11 consecutive games on the road from June 11-through-June 24. It marks the first time in franchise history the Rocks will play that many straight contests away from the friendly confines of Frawley Stadium. The season will close at home with a four-game series against the Potomac Nationals over Labor Day weekend.
