Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release

Wilmington, DE - Wilmington Blue Rocks outfielder Patrick Norris and an ornery feline combined to garner the No. 4 spot on ESPN's SportsCenter's "Not Top Plays" earlier today. Video from the Blue Rocks' 2-0 defeat of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on Monday showed Norris attempting to corral the vagabond kitten with his glove. Ultimately, the intervention of the Pelicans' Rally Shark and the improvised talents of an intern with a towel thwarted the frisky feline's invasion plans.

For the video from ESPN, click on the link below. Norris' appearance comes with 1:15 remaining: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5403778.

Norris & Co. continue their seven-game road trip in Kinston, NC tonight at 7 p.m. The team returns home on Monday for the first of three against the Potomac Nationals. First pitch at Frawley Stadium on Monday is set for 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m. It will be "80s Night" at the park. As always, a Mega Deal Monday offer means fans can purchase four reserved tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $40. Offer valid only by purchase at Blue Rocks ticket windows or by calling 302-888-BLUE. All Monday games also allow fans to play Baseball Bingo free of charge.
