
Blue Jays Select Contract of Bisons Colabello, Option Diaz to Herd

The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that they have selected the contract of INF CHRIS COLABELLO from the Buffalo Bisons and optioned INF JONATHAN DIAZ to the Bisons.
Diaz was hitless with one RBI in five at-bats over four games with the Blue Jays. In 16 games with the Bisons to begin the 2015 season, Diaz hit .178 (8-45) with two doubles and an RBI while committing just one error in the field.
Colabello was recently named International League Player of the Month for April and currently leads the circuit in home runs (5) and RBI (18) to go along .337 average in 23 games for the Bisons. Colabello has also drawn 11 walks for a .421 on-base percentage, having reached base safely in all but one game for the Bisons this season.
