The Bulls play game one of a three-game set against the Buffalo Bisons at the DBAP. Durham is 11-5 over its past 16 games, after opening the season just 3-6 - the worst nine-game start in the franchise's 18-year Triple-A history - and is coming off a 5-2 road trip to Lehigh Valley (3-1) and Pawtucket (2-1). Buffalo - the Toronto Blue Jays' top affiliate - holds the International League's best record at 15-9, but is just 3-5 over its last eight contests after beginning the season 12-4.
