WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Football Club made the following transactions on Tuesday, August 26:

The Blue Bombers signed punter/kicker Mark Myers (DOB: July 13, 1982 in Rockledge, Florida) to a practice roster agreement.

The product of Florida Atlantic University played three games with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2006, and finished 5-for-6 on field goal attempts in and averaged 57.7 yards on 12 kickoffs. He suited up twice against Winnipeg in the pre-season last year.

In four seasons at Florida Atlantic University (2001-04), he set 17 school records while connecting on 43-of-59 field goals with a career long of 53 and scoring a school-record 230 points. Myers spent time with the New York Jets earlier this year after signing with the club in May, 2008. Myers will wear #19 with the Blue Bombers.
