Blowfish to Honor Lexington Lady Wildcat State Champions

Lexington County Blowfish News Release


Before the first pitch of the 2019 season, the Blowfish will honor a team that brought a championship to Lexington County just a few weeks ago. The Lexington High Wildcat softball team defeated Byrnes in a 3 game series to claim the 2019 SCHSL Class 5A State Championship, their first since 2001!

The Blowfish will also be honoring the Dixie Youth Midlands Minors World Series Champions during pregame ceremonies. The Midlands Minors play their home games at the fields in Pine Ridge, South Carolina. The entire Midlands Minors team will throw out a first pitch and be recognized for their amazing accomplishment of bringing a World Series title to Lexington County!
