Bloomington Extreme Add Three to 2010 Roster

BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme continued to shape their 2010 roster by adding two wide receivers, Johnny Gray and Charles Sullivan along with the re-signing of veteran Defensive End, Eugene Phillips.

Johnny Gray, 5'9" 185 lbs. - Wide Receiver from Northern Iowa University collected 141 receptions and 1,912 receiving yards, while compiling 3,724 all-purpose yards over the course of his collegiate career. The Deerfield Beach, Florida native known as "Big Play Johnny Gray" was selected as a 1st Team Gateway Conference Wide Receiver and Punt Returner, as well as a Sports Network All-American Wide Receiver and Punt Returner.

Charles Sullivan, 6'1" 180 lbs. - Wide Receiver from Hofstra University was a member of the Colonial Conference All-Conference First Team following his senior season. Sullivan is the career leader in receptions and receiving yards while also holding the single season marks in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. Sullivan compiled 238 receptions, 2,869 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns over the course of four seasons at Hofstra. Sullivan spent the past year in NFL training camps with the New York Jets and Detroit Lions.

Eugene Phillips, 6'3" 260 - Defensive Lineman will return to the Extreme for his second season with the organization. Phillips played his college football at Georgia Southern, where he was a starting defensive end on their three national championship teams. As a 9 year professional, Phillips has averaged double-digit sacks each season. Prior to playing for the Extreme, Phillips spent 3 seasons with the Billings Outlaws of the IFL.

"The addition of Johnny and Charles to the offensive weapons we already posses, should provide us some of the most dynamic offensive talent we've had in Bloomington as well as provide a lot of excitement for our fans" Coach Kenton Carr commented. "Eugene is a consummate professional that goes about getting his job done and provides great leadership in the locker room."

The Bloomington Extreme will play seven home games at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in 2010. The regular season runs from March-June with playoffs to follow.
