Green Bay Blizzard News Release

Blizzard in the Community

With school in full swing and the Arena Football League off-season underway, the Green Bay Blizzard is making good on Managing Partner Brian Noble's pledge to become a larger presence in the community.

This Saturday (October 30) from 10:00am-3:00pm, the Blizzard will be in full force at the Quizno's Sub Grand Opening. The event is scheduled as such:

* From 10:00am-noon, Bruiser – the coolest mascot in the af2 – will start things off by signing autographs and posing for pictures

* Brian Noble will then be on hand to sign autographs from 11:00am-1:00pm

* OS Quentin Ware-Bey (#1) will take over and sign autographs from 1:00-3:00pm.

* Plus, Theresa and Melissa of The Freeze Dance Team will be on hand from 11:00am-2:00pm to sign autographs and take pictures

Fans and customers can register to win either an AFL replica football or a Blizzard pennant & hat set, all autographed by Brian Noble

The new Quizno's Sub, located at 2301 Holmgren Way in Green Bay, is now open for business and can be reached at (920) 884-0988.

The next stops for the Blizzard will be at "Studio G" inside Geoffrey's Toys ‘R' Us, where Bruiser and a Blizzard player will be on hand to read stories to kids during "Story Time." The next two appearances will be:

Thursday, November 11 from 10:30-11:30am at the Green Bay location, 1640 W. Mason Street

Thursday, November 18 from 10:30-11:30am at the Appleton location, 4301 W. Wisconsin Avenue (near the Fox River Mall)

If you're a member of Bruiser's Kids Club (sponsored by Geoffrey's Toys ‘R' Us), be sure and wear your Kids Club t-shirt so Bruiser and the player can sign it!
