Blizzard Sign Running Back Ej Burgess

EJ Burgess (5' 11", 220 lbs.), a Pearland, TX native, joins the Blizzard for his rookie season in the IFL after a standout career at Franklin Pierce University, a Division II program located in New Hampshire.
EJ appeared in 18 games for the Ravens in 2021 and 2022. In two seasons, Burgess amassed 2,230 all-purpose yards and 14 touchdowns (1,729 rushing yards, 12 rushing TDs). For his efforts, EJ earned Northeast-10 All-Conference RB honors twice (Second Team - 2022; First Team - 2021) and was named the Northeast-10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2021. He was also recognized as a D2CCA All-Region 1 First Team RB and a Don Hansen Honorable Mention All-American in 2021.
