Corey Roberson, the head coach and general manager of the Green Bay Blizzard, has added another big-bodied running back to the roster.
Roberson announced on Tuesday that the Blizzard has signed Rameses Owens, a 6-2, 228-pounder who played three seasons at NCAA Division I (FCS) Robert Morris University before finishing at D2 Lincoln University.
In his first season at Robert Morris (2014), Rameses started six games and ran for 562 yards, including 199 against North Dakota University. The following year, he ran for 456 yards, including 152 against Youngstown State. In his one season at Lincoln, Rameses ran for 447 yards and five touchdowns in nine games.
"Rameses is a strong, physical back with plenty of college experience," said Roberson. "We plan to be a physical running team this season".
