Blizzard Return Two Offensive Weapons

Green Bay has re-signed offensive lineman Zak Hill for a second season with the Blizzard. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Hill began his collegiate football career at Malone University, where he received second-team conference honors and was named Freshman of the Year. He then transferred to Tiffin University in Ohio and joined their football program. Hill started at left guard in eight games for the Blizzard in 2022 and was honored alongside his OL teammates as the Week 15 Players of the Game..

Shaq Curenton is back for another season with the Blizzard. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Curenton was Scottsdale Community College's leading receiver and named the Offensive MVP in the Artichokes' Valley of Sun Bowl victory. Curenton is entering his third year in the IFL, having played with the Tucson Sugar Skulls in 2019. In his 16 games with the Blizzard last season, Curenton was a versatile jack-of-all-trades, serving as a wide receiver, running back, defensive back, short snapper, and punt returner. He racked up 575 total yards, 6 touchdowns, 5.5 tackles, and 2 PBUs. Curenton also earned Player of the Game honors in Weeks 10 and 18 and was voted the Blizzard's Co-Joe-Lunch-Bucket award winner.
