
Blizzard Lineman Craig Wilson Selected as Defensive Player of the Week

Green Bay Blizzard defensive lineman, Craig Wilson, was selected by the league as the Aaron's Defensive Player of the Week. On his way to achieving this award Wilson recorded 3.5 tackles and sacked Quad City quarterback J.J. Raterink two and a half times last Saturday. In the fnal seconds of the third quarter, Wilson recorded one of his sacks in the end zone, adding a safety to the Blizzard's score. Wilson is currently ranked 10th in the league averaging one and a quarter sacks per game.
The Blizzard won their frst Midwest Division game and stand 2-1 overall for the sea- son. Green Bay came out strong in the frst half scoring 33 points and holding Quad City to 16 points. Quad City responded with a strong 22 point forth quarter but fell short in their comeback attempt.
