Thunder Pre-Game Concert

BOARDMAN, Ohio- The Mahoning Valley Thunder is pleased to announce that national recording artist WILLET is among four bands performing Saturday afternoon in conjunction with the Thunder's home game on Cortland Banks Field inside of the Chevrolet Centre. The concert will be held in the Chevrolet Centre parking lot and kicks off at 4 p.m. Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a ticket to that evening's Thunder game. Mahoning Valley faces the two-time league champion Tulsa Talons at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, April 25th also marks Faith and Family Night at the arena, you can enjoy all four bands and the Thunder game for as low as $12.

Headlining the Official Pre-Game Concert is Willet, a national act out of Westminster, MD who performs over 250 times a year. Willet has recently shared the stage with national acts Switchfoot and Reliant K among others. The band's music has been played across a number of mainstream radio stations including regular air time on Sirius Satellite Radio and AOL Radio. Most often Willet is compared to the popular rock band Chevelle. Joining Willet for the Official Pre-Game Concert are Mikel Lagaras, In The Blind and the Jordan River Band.

All four bands are of the Christian Rock Genre and will perform outside, in the parking lot of the Chevrolet Centre between 4 and 6 p.m. For ticket information call the Thunder Office at 330.758.4232.
