
Blizzard K Jeff Budzien IFL Special Teams Player of the Week

Green Bay, WI (April 30, 2015) - The Indoor Football League has announced that Blizzard kicker Jeff Budzien has been named the Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance Saturday night at Cedar Rapids.
Budzien, a Wisconsin native from Hartland, kicked a 39 yard field goal as time expired to give the Blizzard the road victory over the Cedar Rapids Titans. He finished the game making 4 of 7 field goal attempts, connecting from 43, 26, 45, and 39 yards. Budzien leads the IFL in conversion percentage (58%) and is second among kickers in points scored with 75.
The Blizzard kicker joins quarterback Donovan Porterie as Player of the Week selections this season. Porterie was named Offensive Player of the Week in week 4.
