
Blizzard Duo Named Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Green Bay, WI - For the first time this season two Blizzard players have been awarded IFL Weekly Award during the same week. QB Spencer Ohm and WR Ryan Balentine have been named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after the Blizzard's 66-54 victory over the Tri-Cities Fever Saturday night.
QB Spencer Ohm, in his first career start, scorched the Fever defense completing 19 of 27 passes for 275 yards and seven touchdowns. He also added 13 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Ohm became the first Blizzard QB to throw for seven touchdowns in one game in over two years.
WR Ryan Balentine caught 11 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 17 yards while adding another touchdown. He finished the night with 187 all-purpose yards and four total touchdowns. His 11 catches for 170 yards is the highest among the IFL this season in both categories. Balentine now ranks first in the IFL in receptions (43) and receiving yards (535)
Nebraska LB Pig Brown was named Defensive Player of the Week while Cedar Rapids KR Bryan Pray was named Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Blizzard return to action at the Resch Center Saturday night as the team takes on the Texas Revolution at 7 P.M. Members of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band will be performing throughout the night.
