
Blizzard Advance To Conference Semifinals Against Iowa

The Green Bay Blizzard went on the road to play the defending champion Tennessee Valley Vipers and came home with a victory. Players on every side of the ball came up with big plays allowing the Blizzard to advance to the 2nd round Conference Semifinal game at Iowa.
Quarterback Gino Guidugli sparked the Blizzard offense completing 25 of his 34 pass attempts for 288 yards and seven touchdowns. Wide receiver Anthony Crissinger-Hill caught 13 of those passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Nate Forse also had a big game catching nine passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns.
Blizzard defensive back and kick returner, Larry Williams, was awarded the Ironman of the game award for his play on special teams and defense. Williams had a team leading seven tackles, an interception and had 156 kick return yards.
This week the Blizzard will be back on the road to face a familiar division foe, the Iowa Barnstormers. These two teams played twice already this season with each team claiming a win and splitting the season series. The Blizzard hold the all-time series lead with three wins and one loss dating back to last season.
The winner of game in Iowa will advance on to the conference finals to face the winner of the WB/Scranton and Kentucky game.
