Blizzard & Freeze To Hold Tryouts

Green Bay Blizzard News Release
The Green Bay Blizzard and Head Coach Rik Richards announce their final tryout for the 2010 season. The tryout is to be held at the Brown County Arena on January 30th 2010. Registration and warm-up will begin at 8:00am with the tryout starting at 9:00am. The registration fee to tryout is $40 (cash or credit card only) for early registration or $60 at the door. The entry deadline for early registration will be Friday January 22nd. at 5pm.
The Brown County Arena is a historic site in Green Bay, and will have the Blizzard's field down for the work out. Athletes of all skill levels are encouraged to tryout and live their dream of becoming a professional football player. Players must bring their own workout attire for the indoor facility, but no cleats allowed. All players must be 18 years of age or older to tryout. Be prepared to be evaluated in the following drills: 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, four cone drill, standing broad jump, agility drills, position-specific drills and 8-on-8. This tryout will also include kickers, and all kickers are encouraged to attend.

Parking - Park in Lambeau Field Lot & enter through the front doors of the old Hall of Fame (855 Lombardi Ave.)
Cost - $20 Pre-registration - $25 day of tryout

*Wear Black active wear (pants/capris/short), white t-shirt and jazz or athletic shoes
*Hair pulled back out of your face and no jewelry

4:30-4:45pm What we are looking for and what you can expect
4:45-5:00pm Stretch and warm up
5:00-5:30pm Learn the Skills required
5:30-7:30pm Learn the Routine
7:30-8:00pm Open Practice
8:00-9:00pm TRY OUTS
All 2010 Freeze Dance Team Members will be posted on the Blizzard's Website and be sent a "Congratulations" email by 5pm Tuesday, February 2nd
