Bakersfield Blitz News Release
BAKERSFIELD - Bakersfield Blitz players, Mike Wall, Alex Wallace, and Ben McCombs hung out with kids at the Police Activities League (PAL) on Thursday, May 4.
Blitz quarterback, Mike Wall, started off the afternoon with an inspirational speech on life struggles and talked about what it takes to be successful; such as good grades, hard work, and discipline. He was joined by fellow teammates, Alex Wallace and Ben McCombs; along with Blitz Girlz, Christy and Marissa when they autographed mini footballs for the boys and girls. The Blitz team members spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with the kids with a game of basketball and catch football.
"It was great spending the day with those kids," Mike Wall said. "We all want to do whatever we can to help kids stay on the right track and inspire them to stay focused in school."
