BAKERSFIELD - The Bakersfield Blitz announced today the release of DS, Lemont Hudgins and WR/LB, Ryan Karr.
"We have been making so many transactions in order to comprise the perfect team," Head Coach Gary Compton. "Lemont and Ryan are great athletes but we needed to make some room for those that can really lead the team to a championship."
The rest of the Blitz team will be battling the Spokane Shock on Saturday, May 6, at Spokane. Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Spokane Arena.
Season tickets for the Blitz 2006 season are still on sale, as well as single game tickets. Ticket plans start at the prorated price of $70 and single game tickets are as low as $10 in the lower bowl. Tickets will be available at the Rabobank Arena box office and any Ticketmaster location.
