Blazers Sign Seven Prospects

KAMLOOPS, BC – The Kamloops Blazers are proud to announce the signing of seven players to WHL Education Agreements and Player Contracts:

Josh Caron (D, 91, Campbell River, BC)
Jon Groenheyde (G, 91, Surrey, BC)
Darcy Huisman (D, 89, Smithers, BC)
Daniel Medland-Marchen (D, 92, Kelowna, BC)

Matt Riley (F, 91, Coquitlam, BC)
Jake Trask (F, 91, Saskatoon, SK)
Richard Vanderhoek (F, 91, Langley, BC)

In addition to the earlier signings of Brendan Ranford (F, 92, Edmonton, AB), Jimmy Bubnick (F, 91, Saskatoon, SK) and James Priestner (G, 91, Edmonton, AB), this gives the Blazers a total of NINE players in the 15- and 16-year-old age group who have committed to the Blazers and the Western Hockey League and solidified their both their hockey and educational futures.
