Jackson, TN (June 7th)- Darren Blakely's one out RBI single in the top of the ninth inning drove in the winning run as the Birmingham Barons defeated the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx 5-4 before a Wednesday night crowd of 1,003 at Pringles Park.

After the Diamond Jaxx tied the game at four on a two run double by Nic Jackson in the bottom of the eighth, Thomas Atlee (2-3) yielded a one out double to right off the bat of Thomas Collaro. Mike Myers followed with a single to center to put runners at first and third with one out. Blakely stepped up and fisted a single just in front of Jackson to give the Barons a 5-4 lead. B.J.
