Tonight... Is the 2nd time in 5 days these two teams clash as Saskatoon opens a 3-game home stand welcoming the Medicine Hat Tigers for game 3 of their season series... Saskatoon leads 2-0. The Blades are looking to extend their win streak to three games while the Tigers try to snap a 2-game slide. Saskatoon is currently 2 points ahead of Brandon for 2nd in the East Division... the Tigers will try to create some distance from their rivals, the Lethbridge Hurricanes, who are 1 point back.
Head to head... The Blades lead the season series 2-0, are 5 points ahead of the Tigers in the standings, and have a +7 goal differential compared to Medicine Hat's -8.
