Tonight... Is the 2nd time in 5 days these two teams clash as Saskatoon opens a 3-game home stand welcoming the Medicine Hat Tigers for game 3 of their season series... Saskatoon leads 2-0. The Blades are looking to extend their win streak to three games while the Tigers try to snap a 2-game slide. Saskatoon is currently 2 points ahead of Brandon for 2nd in the East Division... the Tigers will try to create some distance from their rivals, the Lethbridge Hurricanes, who are 1 point back.

Head to head... The Blades lead the season series 2-0, are 5 points ahead of the Tigers in the standings, and have a +7 goal differential compared to Medicine Hat's -8. The Tigers do have a better overall power play, but are only 1/6 against the Blades (16.7%) while Saskatoon has gone 2/10 against Medicine Hat. Tiger captain James Hamblin leads the team with 24 points... the Blades are led by Kirby Dach who has 34 points.

Who's hot... Nolan Maier picked up 2 wins on the road over the weekend, allowing just 1 goal in each game, stopping a total of 66/68 shots. Max Gerlach has 5 goals in his last 4 games including one against Medicine Hat last Friday. Kirby Dach is riding a 4 game streak that includes 1G-6A, and Gary Haden has 2 goals in his last 2 games including the game winner last Friday in Medicine Hat. Haden has points in 6 of 8 games since joining the Blades.
