Blades Team up with Nutrien for Shaker Night
February 27, 2018 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release
We're throwing a shaker!
The Saskatoon Blades have proudly joined forces with Nutrien to present Shaker Night at SaskTel Centre this Friday when the Blades continue their playoff push and welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The goal is to once again raise awareness, funds, and food for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game in support of the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre, and if possible a box of macaroni & cheese. Upon entry, fans will also be provided with a box of macaroni & cheese courtesy of Save-On-Foods. This is where the shaker part comes in. During the game shake your mac & cheese boxes and make some noise for the Blades! There will be prizes throughout the night, especially for those getting up and shaking their boxes.
When the game is done, drop off your mac & cheese and any other food donations in the various drop bins located throughout the concourse.
Game time is 7:00pm at SaskTel Centre and doors open at 6:00pm.
