
Blades Restructure Front Office

The Blades are pleased to welcome Brittany Loraas to the organization as Manager of Game Day Operations. Brittany will be responsible for the execution of all game requirements as well as manager of all game night personnel. Brittany held an internship position with the Blades organization prior to taking on the role of Sponsorships & Special Events Coordinator with the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships and the Blades are elated to have her as the newest member of the front office staff.
The Blades are also pleased to announce the advancement of current Customer Service Representative, Lindsay McAllister to the team's position of Ticketing Coordinator. With her past experience and success in the customer service role, Lindsay will positively champion the development, communication, planning, and execution of season ticket and game night ticket strategies for the organization.
Along with Lindsay, the ticketing department is pleased to announce that Dan Ukrainetz will now take on the full time role of Ticket Sales Representative. With proven success in the Blades and Oil Kings organizations, Dan will be responsible for the prospect and sale of all Blades ticketing options (season, group, individual, and specialty event).
In addition, the Blades are pleased to announce Amy Moats as the new Manager of Communications. This position will encompass all communication aspects of the organization including website, community, video, graphic design and media relations. Amy's knowledge in Communications and previous experience in media relations & alumni relations is sure to be an asset.
Amy Moats & Brittany Loraas will also co-champion all activities associated with game day & online merchandising for the club.
Finally Michael Scissons, the Blades Manager of Corporate Sales will also champion all of the team's community initiatives from this point forward. Mike's knowledge of local community groups and his detailed interest in promoting the organization will certainly continue to build on the Blades strong community image.
Trent Coghill, Director of Business Operations for the Blades had this to say about the changes. "As an organization we are very pleased to have Brittany join our team. Her experience with our organization and with the World Junior event will bring nothing but a new and exciting perspective to our overall game day production. In addition, we also look forward to the new roles that Amy, Lindsay, Mike and Dan will champion and are certain that these staff members will continue to promote and grow our organization to a new and higher level of success both in business and in our community."
Along with these changes, the Blades wish Ticket Coordinator Aaron Avivi the best of luck with his new role as Manager of Special Operations with Western Concessions Inc. and thank him for his years of dedication to the Saskatoon Blades Hockey Club. Aaron will begin his new career with Western Concessions on April 15th, 2010.
These changes in front office structure have begun but will be in full effect as of Monday March 15th, 2010.
