Tonight...
The Blades and Warriors finish the back half of a home & home series in Moose Jaw. It's a bit of a grudge match as both East Division foes sit tied with 37 points and tied 1-1 in the season series. Moose Jaw has 3 games in hand.
The Blades might be happy to hit the road once again tonight. Saskatoon has played 18/30 games this season on the road, and have earned 11 of their 17 wins there. The Blades are 2-0-1-0 in their last 3 road games and 11-5-2-0 overall away from home this season.
The last game...
Eric Florchuk (9) and Josh Paterson (8) scored first period goals for Saskatoon last night at home in a 3-2 loss to the Warriors. Moose Jaw then scored 3 unanswered goals from Luke Ormsby (4), Tristin Langan (20), and Brayden Tracey (10) to complete the comeback victory. Special teams were the difference as Moose Jaw went 2/3 on the PP and 5/5 on the PK. Nolan Maier made 22 saves for the Blades while Brodan Salmond stopped 33/35 shots.
Head to Head...
The season series is now tied 1-1 with the road team coming out successful in each of the two meetings. Kirby Dach has 1G-2A in the series for Saskatoon... Four other Blades have 2 points each. Tristin Langan leads the Warriors offense in the season series vs the Blades with 2G-2A... Jett Woo is close behind with 3 helpers. Brodan Salmond is 1-1 in goal vs Saskatoon... Dorrin Luding has the Blades win over the Warriors from back on Nov. 2nd in Moose Jaw.
Who's hot......
Gary Haden has 1G-2A in his last 2 games... Dawson Davidson has 8 points in his last 8 games... Max Gerlach has 5 points in his last 6 outings, and newcomer Nolan Kneen has 3 assists in his last 3 games.
