
Blades make changes to roster

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that defenseman Brad Zanon has been reassigned to the team by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League and that rookie Drew Paris has been signed to an amateur tryout contract.
Zanon returns to the Everblades after playing in three games with the Admirals during his most recent stint in the AHL. Earlier this season the 25-year-old heads saw action in one game with the Albany River Rats. Zanon has played in 60 games with the Everblades notching 11 points (1g, 10a) and 129 penalty minutes.
The Everblades also announced the signing of Paris who joins the Everblades after making his professional debut last week with the Rochester Americans of the AHL playing in their March 28 game at Binghamton. The 20-year-old hit the pro ranks this season after completing his fifth season at the junior level in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Paris split the '08-'09 season between Acadie-Bathurst (7g, 27a in 37 games) and Chicoutimi (13g, 17a in 29 games).
In addition the Everblades also announced today that rookie defenseman Zack Fenwick was released from his amateur tryout contract. Fenwick played in three games with the Everblades and did not register a point.

The Everblades return to action tonight when they host the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.
