
Black Wolves Welcome Back Joel Tinney

UNCASVILLE, CT. - It has been announced today that Joel Tinney has been signed to a one-year deal with the Black Wolves.
Per team policy, no details were released.
"Joel has amazing athleticism and skill,' head coach and general manager Glenn Clark said. "He is a young player with tremendous potential. And, he's handled his position with our group very professionally and is committed to becoming a full time NLL player."
Tinney was selected 18th overall in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft by the Georgia Swarm. He was acquired from the Swarm in July of 2019 in exchange for a second-round selection in the 2021 Entry Draft. While at Georgia, he tallied five points on one goal and four assists. He did not see any action in the Black Wolves 2019-20 season.
During his college career, the Johns Hopkins graduation finished as the program's fastest player to score 30 goals. In her four years, he scored 68 goals and tallied 51 assists for 119 points while also collecting 107 loose balls and causing 24 turnovers. Tinney was also a two-time All-American.
