
Black Wolves Sign Murphy

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The New England Black Wolves have signed Austin Murphy to a two-year contract.
Selected with the 41st overall pick in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft by the Saskatchewan Rush, the forward wrapped up his collegiate career at Wingate University as the programs all-time leading scorer with 228 points.
An All-SAC honoree in all four seasons at Wingate, Murphy was also the SAC Freshman of the Year in 2014 and led the team to an SAC Tournament title in 2017. He was named the 2018 Arena Lacrosse League Rookie of the Year after leading the ALL in scoring with 83 points on the year and added 20 points in the playoffs. His team, the Whitby Steelhawks, captured the ALL Cup.
