New England Black Wolves News Release
UNCASVILLE, Conn.- The New England Black Wolves will partner with the Cactus Jack Foundation Pediatric Assistance Fund to help raise awareness for Pediatric Cancer on February 3rd when they face-off against the Rochester Knighthawks at Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:30 p.m.
The Cactus Jack Foundation Pediatric Assistance Fund, founded by Mike Buscetto in 2016 as an arm of the Cactus Jack Foundation, provides support for children and young people in need throughout Southeastern Connecticut. To date, the Fund has raised $1 million to give back to local families.
Throughout the game there will be a number of ways for fans to give back, including a 50/50 ball toss to benefit the CJF Pediatric Assistance Fund. There will be a silent auction on the Mohegan Sun Arena concourse with items from the Black Wolves, the Connecticut Sun and other local organizations. All proceeds from the auction will go to the CJF Pediatric Assistance Fund.
The Black Wolves will also all be using special gold mesh on their sticks to support the cause.
"I truly appreciate the Black Wolves commitment to our community along with the Cactus Jack Foundation," Buscetto said. "We are looking forward to a long-lasting relationship."
