
Black Wolves Re-Sign Tony Malcom

UNCASVILLE, CT. - It was announced today that the New England Black Wolves have re-signed Tony Malcom to a one-year contract. The New Westminster, BC native was acquired by the Black Wolves in 2019 from the Vancouver Warriors in exchange for a second round selection in the 2022 NLL Entry.
Per team policy, no details were released.
"Anthony had an exceptional season with us last year in a role that was a little different for him," general manager and head coach Glenn Clark said. "He played predominantly in a defensive role and excelled with his defense and transition game. He was a big part of our success last season and will be crucial for our success moving forward."
Malcom, will enter his sixth year in the NLL during the 2020-21 season. As a transition player, he appeared in 11 games for the Black Wolves last year where he collected a team-high 95 loose balls, caused nine turnovers and racked up 13 points on seven goals and six assists.
Previously, the Mars Hill University graduate spent two years with Buffalo and Vancouver, respectively. In 2015, Malcom was drafted 11th overall in the NLL Draft by the Bandits.
On April 8, the NLL announced the cancellation of the remaining regular season games and then announced on June 4, the decision to shift focus to the 2020-21 season. For more information about the New England Black Wolves visit, blackwolves.com.
