Black Wolves Place Powless on Season-Ending Injured Reserve

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (March 6, 2015) - New England Black Wolves forward Quinn Powless has been placed on season-ending injured reserve after undergoing surgery for a torn left anterior cruciate ligament.

Powless, selected by the Black Wolves with the eighth overall pick of the 2014 NLL Entry Draft, played in three games for New England before suffering the injury. He picked up his first career goal on January 2nd against Buffalo and also recorded six assists in his three games played.

"We wish Quinn a speedy recovery, and look forward to his return next year," Black Wolves head coach Blane Harrison said.

The Black Wolves are in action next at Minnesota on Friday, March 14th at 7 p.m. ET. The team returns to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, March 29th, also against Minnesota.
