Waterloo, Iowa - The Waterloo Black Hawks are seeking nominations for the 2019/20 Seats of Honor Program presented by VGM, the team announced Monday.

Before each Waterloo home game, a current member of the Armed Services or a military veteran is presented with tickets for him- or herself and their family. During a break in the action, that special guest will be featured on the Young Arena video scoreboard. A short biography read over the public address system provides fans in attendance the opportunity to recognize the individual for his or her service.

"We are grateful to the women and men who have given us the chance to enjoy the lifestyle and opportunities which we sometimes take for granted in America," said Black Hawks President of Business Operations Joe Greene. "VGM has been a great partner in this program, and we look forward to another year of being able to say 'thank you' to those who truly make this 'the home of the brave.'"

If you would like to nominate an active duty serviceperson or veteran for the Seats of Honor Program presented by VGM, please email Brandon McConnell, Director of Game Night Operations at brandon@waterlooblackhawks.com or call (319) 232-3444.
