Black Bears Trade Sinclair and Kittleson to St. Cloud
The Black Bears have traded forward Logan Kittleson and defenseman Bryden Sinclair to the St. Cloud Blizzard in exchange for a tender and an undisclosed draft pick. Both players had just begun their second season with the organization this past weekend and neither dressed for the second game of the two part series with the Johnstown tomahawks.
Sinclair played 50 games for the Black Bears last season, totaling one goal and seven assists. The University of Maine commit earned a reputation in Piney Orchard for his defensive ability, having a plus minus of just -1 last season.
Kittleson came to the Black Bears as a tender last season and showed flashes of his potential even with limited ice time. He appeared in 44 games last season, totaling 5 goals and 8 assists. His most notable moment with the team was a goal against the Jamestown Rebels late last season, where he put the puck between his legs and elevated it up over the goaltender. In his one game with the Black Bears this season, he recorded an assist.
The Black Bears' Head Coach and GM Clint Mylymok had the following to say on the trade:
"We wish nothing but the best for these two players. Bryden and Logan are quality people and we thank them for their time in Maryland."
