Maryland Black Bears News Release
ODENTON, MD - The Maryland Black Bears have used one of their tenders on Goalie Ben Fritsinger (Andover, MN). The Andover High hockey star comes off a great season, posting a stingy 1.31 GAA and a .932 SVS%.
Ben was recently named Second Team All-State by the 2019 Minnesota Associated Press. He was also selected in the 2018 USHL Entry Draft by the Waterloo Black Hawks. Full of prestigious accolades, Ben Fritsinger brings tons of promise and potential to the Maryland Black Bears.
"Ben has posted very strong numbers throughout his career at Andover (MN) High School, and is an extremely talented individual," said Maryland Black Bears Head Coach Clint Mylymok. "He has the ability to make the big saves when needed and brings three years of starting goaltender experience to the Black Bears. We are happy to add Ben to our family and are confident he has what it takes to be a successful NAHL goaltender."
