
Bisons' Valdes Promoted To Mets

Buffalo Bisons News Release
The New York Mets today announced that they have selected the contract of LHP RAUL VALDES from the Buffalo Bisons.
Valdes, 32, pitched in back-to-back games for the Bisons to begin the 2009 season. He allowed a base hit in 0.1 inning of work on April 8 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The southpaw struck out the only batter he faced to earn a hold in Buffalo's 7-6 victory on April 9 against the Yankees.
