TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons face the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in the final game of a two-game set at Coca-Cola Field (7:35 p.m.). The Herd is looking for a win tonight to split the two-game series against the Yanks. After tonight's game, the Bisons have just a two-game series in Rochester over the weekend to close out the first half of the season.

vs. THE YANKEES: The Bisons are 5-4 against the Yankees this season. Buffalo took three of four in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre from April 8-11 to open the season. The teams then split a four-game set at Coca Cola Field, April 17-20.

LEADING OFF: INF JUSTIN TURNER hit a lead-off home run in last night's game. The last time a Bison hit a lead-off homer was OF JASON PRIDIE on April 18 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Turner is on a five-game hitting streak, batting .429 (9-21) with a double, two home runs and four RBI. He's homered in back-to-back games for the Bisons.

PADDING STATS: OF JORGE PADILLA went 3-5 last night to stretch his hit streak to 12 games. The outfielder has averaged .380 (19-50) with three doubles, seven RBI and 12 runs scored during the stretch. Padilla has now tied the Bisons' season-high, first set by OF JESUS FELICIANO from May 12-23.

RUN PRODUCER: INF MIKE JACOBS hit a two-run home run last night to give him five homers in his last five games. Jacobs now has 14 home runs and 49RBI on the season -both of which are second on the Bisons. He has reached base safely in his last 12 games, hitting .298 (14-47) with eight walks.

ROSTER MOVE: LHP OLIVER PEREZ has joined the Bisons on a MLB rehab assignment and is scheduled to pitch on Sunday. The Mets placed Perez on the disabled list June 5 with patella tendinitis in his right knee. In two rehab starts with Single-A St. Lucie, Perez went 1-1 with a 4.63ERA (14K).

HUNTER'S HOPE NIGHT: The Bisons players and coaches will be wearing specialized Hunter's Hope caps tonight. The caps, which will be raffled off during tonight's game, will feature Hunter's Hope logo on the side. Founded by Hall of Fame member and former Bills quarterback, Jim Kelly, Hunter's Hope promotes awareness for universal and expanded newborn screening.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (47-38) had a day off yesterday. Tonight, New York will host the Atlanta Braves for the first game of a three-game series (7:10 p.m.). Former Bison RHP R.A. DICKEY will take the mound for tonight's game. Dickey is 6-1 with a 2.62ERA. New York is three games behind Atlanta for the NL East Division.
