
Chiefs and IronPigs Postponed on Friday

The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, have had their game against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs postponed due to rain on Friday, July 9th. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader at Alliance Bank Stadium on Saturday August 28th.
On Saturday, the Chiefs will start a two game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, RI. The scheduled starters for that game are RHP Erik Arnesen (2-5, 5.52) for the Chiefs and LHP Fabio Castro (3-6, 6.75) for the PawSox. That game is scheduled to start at 6:05 p.m. On Sunday, LHP Matt Chico (3-4, 4.42) and RPH Josh Beckett (NR) is the scheduled pitching matchup for a 1:05 p.m. start.
