
Bisons Fall to IronPigs, 3-1, in Spring Exhibition Opener

The Buffalo Bisons began their Spring Training exhibition schedule with a 3-1 defeat to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs today from Clearwater, FL.
The Bisons are scheduled to play 16 exhibition games this spring against the Triple-A affiliates of the Philadelphia Phillies (Lehigh Valley), Pittsburgh Pirates (Indianapolis Indians) and New York Yankees (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders).
Centerfielder Jonathan Jones provided most of the offense for the Bisons. The Blue Jays 29th round pick in 2010 was 2-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
RHP Brandon Morrow started for the Bisons and allowed two runs on four hits in four innings of work. He walked one and struck out one.
The Bisons have a camp day tomorrow and will play the Indianapolis Indians from Dunedin, FL on Thursday at 1:00 p.m.
