The Buffalo Bisons defeated the Richmond Braves, 14-7, this afternoon from the Spring Training home of the Atlanta Braves in Disney World, FL. The Herd is now 1-0-1 so far this Spring.
Outfielder Brad Snyder powered the Bisons with a triple and a home run (1) as part of a 3-5 day at the plate. He also scored three runs, drove in five and stole his first base of the Spring.
Designated hitter Jake Gautreau finished the game 2-4 with two doubles and four runs scored. Infielder Rodney Choy Foo also homered and drove in three for Buffalo.
The win went to J.D. Martin. He worked 2.2 innings and gave up three runs (one earned) on three hits. He also struck out two batters.
The Bisons will now return to their spring training home to face the Round Rock Express (Houston Astros) on Tuesday, March 20 (1:00 p.m.).
There are just 17 days until the Bisons Home Opener against the Richmond Braves on Thursday, April 5 (3:05 p.m.) at Dunn Tire Park.
