
Bisons Break Camp After 2-2 Tie Saturday

Spring Training for the Buffalo Bisons has added as the team broke camp in Winter Haven, FL today following a 2-2 tie with the Toledo Mud Hens on Saturday afternoon from Lakeland, FL. The Herd was 4-4-3 this spring with one game canceled due to rain.
The Bisons will now head to Buffalo for workouts before leaving for Norfolk on Wednesday. The Bisons begin the 2008 season on Thursday, April 3 with a 7:15 p.m. game against the Tides. The Herd's Home Opener is just 13 days away as they will host the Toledo Mud Hens on Friday, April 11 (6:05 p.m.) for a fridaynightbash!®. In Saturday's spring finale, 1B Jordan Brown went 2-3 with a pair of singles and an RBI. He finished his spring with a .286 average (6-21) with three home runs and six RBI. All three home runs came in one game, March 24 against Toledo.
RHP Adam Miller started for Buffalo and threw three scoreless innings. He allowed just two hits while striking out three. In his two spring starts with the Bisons, he gave up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts (3.00ERA).
1B Ryan Mulhern had a great spring for Buffalo, hitting .414 (12-29) with six doubles and five RBI. OF Jason Cooper hit .375 (6-16) with three doubles, a triple and one RBI. C Wyatt Toregas also posted a .375 (6-16) average with three RBI.
On the mound, RHP Edward Mujica was 2-0 with a 0.00ERA in four games with the Herd (6.0IP, 6H, 2K). RHP Rick Bauer threw five scoreless outings (8.0IP, 6H, 4BB, 8K) while RHP Jeff Harris posted a 1.29ERA in his two spring tams (7.0IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 2BB, 8K).
