Bismarck Bobcats Teddy Bear Toss Saturday
December 14, 2020 - North American Hockey League (NAHL) - Bismarck Bobcats News Release
The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that our annual Teddy Bear Toss will be held this Saturday night at the VFW Sports Center against Minot.
Each year, the Bobcats host our annual Teddy Bear Toss night, one of the best theme nights and best charitable causes we pursue each year. We invite all of our fans to bring a bear- or bears- to the game on Saturday. When the Bobcats score their first goal, fans can let the bears fly down onto the ice- one of the rare times we allow fans to throw objects onto the rink.
The bears will be donated to local hospitals and Toys for Tots to bring some holiday cheer to the young kids in our community that need it most. Although most years we would have a full crowd and hundreds (if not thousands) of bears, we know that this is a strange year. Our capacity of 300 will have to carry some weight during the game with our bear total, but anyone that wishes to bring bears to donate for a good cause can bring them to the Bobcat Hockey Office in the VFW.
We look forward to a great Saturday night with our Teddy Bear Toss, as well as a great slate of games this week with St. Cloud in town on Tuesday night, and Minot around on Friday and Saturday.
