Biscuits Ticket Campaign Raises More Than 1,000 Tickets for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Alab

MONTGOMERY - The Montgomery Biscuits will donate more than 1,000 tickets to Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Alabama, thanks to a holiday ticket sales campaign.
The Biscuits partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Alabama for the "Put a Biscuit in a Stocking" campaign. For each 12-Pack ordered between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31, the Biscuits donated two tickets to the charitable organization. With 536 12-Packs ordered during the month-long span, the total donation comes to 1,072 tickets.
"We are very proud of our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Alabama, and we're happy to be able to share some of the excitement of our inaugural season with the children of our community," said Biscuits General Manager of Sales and Marketing Megan Frazer.
"It's very important to us to be a strong part of this community. We would also like to thank all the fans who ordered12-Packs, without whom this donation would not have been possible."
The Biscuits and Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Alabama will agree upon four games during the 2004 season at which club members will use the donated tickets. Club members will be recognized on Riverwalk Stadium's scoreboard and public address system and be asked to participate in on-field promotions.
"This is a great day for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Alabama," said Executive Director Cedrick Williams. "We're pleased that the Biscuits have given so generously and we are looking forward to a relationship that will benefit our community and its children."
Biscuits 12-Game Packs are one of the team's many season ticket options, which have been on sale since October. Season tickets are still available at the Biscuits' retail location at Eastdale Mall. They can also be ordered at www.biscuitsbaseball.com or by phone at 323-2255.
