MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Biscuits lost their fifth-straight game for the first time all season, falling to the Jackson Generals, 6-2, on Sunday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

Ryne Stanek (1-6) got the ball for the Butter and Blue, and while the right-hander pitched well, recording seven strikeouts in 6.2 innings, he would end up on the losing side for the sixth time this season as a two-run home run by Leon Landry in the sixth was the difference on this night.

The Generals scored first for the sixth time in the series on a Stanek wild pitch in the third, but an RBI-single by Willy Adames in the same inning would wipe that lead out. Casey Gillaspie's RBI-groundout in the fifth put the Biscuits up 2-1, before Landry's long-ball handed the advantage back to Jackson.

The Generals would tack on three more runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a two-run double by Guillermo Heredia and another RBI by Tyler O'Neill, who finished the series with ten for Jackson. Ryan Yarbrough (6-1) pitched six innings of two-run ball for his sixth victory in six starts.

The Biscuits are now seven-and-a-half games out of first place in the First Half North Division, and will head to Jacksonville on their off day Monday to open up a six-game series with the Suns beginning on Tuesday at 6:05 PM.
