Lexington, KY. - The Lexington Legends announced today that birthday party ticket sales would begin on Monday, January 9. Fans purchasing a birthday package can look forward to throwing an unforgettable bash for their child or loved one during a 2006 Legends home game at Applebee's Park.
"Our Grand Slam Birthday Bash is a guaranteed good time for kids of all ages," says Legends Promotions Director Monica Johnson. "Not only are they great fun for the kids, but they are parent-friendly as well because we take care of everything so the parents can enjoy themselves too!"
The Grand Slam Birthday Bash includes ten (10) box seats, ten (10) Legends souvenir pennants, and thirty (30) game vouchers that can be used toward the speed pitch, bouncer or carousel. The honoree will also receive one souvenir Legends baseball autographed by the entire Legends team and a Legends visor. Food and beverage, including a birthday cake, are also included.
In addition, the honoree will be announced over the PA, their name will be displayed on the Applebee's Park scoreboard, and the crowd will sing "Happy Birthday" to them while he or she stands on the field. For groups larger than ten (10), additional parent and child tickets are available for purchase.
